Luis Pescarmona

Luis was born in Argentina and raised between Argentina and the United States. He has pursued education and professional opportunities in Latin America, the US and Asia. He received his industrial engineering degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Luis is passionate about helping companies grow, enabling them to focus on operational restructurings, team mentoring, business development, investment management and how and when to raise capital. He has over two decades of solid experience in the venture capital and private equity industry including M&A, financing, investment management and deal structuring for infrastructure projects and debt restructurings. Luis has extensive experience and has acted as President and CEO of several companies, including Rosemary Advisors, TAFSA, Energimp, IMPSA Wind,
During the past few years, Luis has focused on reorganizing his family group of businesses into a single-family office and into a small private equity platform in the insurance, investment management, software, environmental services, real estate, equipment manufacturing and beverage industries.
He is a minority partner at Kalei Ventures, a Latin American-focused venture capital fund that invests in Series A and initial rounds, pursuing his passion to invest early in startups with memorable founders.
After completing his MBA, he moved to Brazil for 8 years and acted as CEO of IMPSA Wind transforming it into Latin America’s largest wind turbine manufacturer. While in Brazil, he also co-founded Energimp, an Independent Power Producer that invested and developed over 800MW of renewable wind energy.
In his twenties, he worked for Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division in New York and in Buenos Aires executing project finance infrastructure deals for the oil and gas, energy, construction, and power industries. He also advised in several large corporate and institutional debt restructurings in South America.
